I wear a few different hats in my work as a writer, and they vary depending on the project I'm working on. Essentially those hats switch back and forth between journalism, corporate writing and copywriting.

Over my 20-year career I've reported on real estate, business, high technology, health care, education, community affairs, arts, religion, travel, books, food, home décor, vehicles and weddings. My articles have been published in general interest magazines, trade magazines and newspapers in Canada, the United States, Britain, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.

For the past six years I've been a columnist at the Canadian Jewish News where I produce a monthly column titled "Married With Kids" and serve as the paper's Western Correspondent, filing stories of Jewish interest from British Columbia.

I love writing about food and the business of food. I write restaurant reviews for Tourism Bellingham and Cascadia Weekly. I'm a regular contributor to the National Culinary Review, a trade magazine for American chefs, and for the national trade magazine Flavor  & The Menu. As a seafood specialist over the past decade I'm writing monthly features for the Global Aquaculture Advocate, the online magazine of the Global Aquaculture Alliance.

My travelwriting appears in Cascadia Weekly, the Delta Optimist, the Vernon Morning Star, Kamloops This Week, the Canadian Jewish News, the Jewish Independent, Horizon Airlines Magazine and Alaska Airlines Magazine.

When I'm wearing my copywriter hat I'm usually creating marketing collateral for the real estate industry, an array of material that includes advertisements, direct mailers, storylines and websites. I ghost-write blogs, letters and other marketing collateral for realtors and I'm called on to help developers establish their branding and positioning lines for their developments. My work appears in their brochures and sales centers across the Lower Mainland and British Columbia.

My specialty is prose that communicates effectively, efficiently and profoundly with its desired audience. The audience changes daily depending on my project, but the quality of my work is consistently superb.

I'm a proud mom to four amazing children who keep me feeling young and on my toes. My favorite way to spend down time is in a screen-free environment with my kids, opting for (soft) adventure whenever possible
